About me

document (3)_004

Hello, My name is Melissa G. McMaster, aka “Mo” I’m a wife and the mother of two adult children. I have been a mentor to young mothers for many years. I have helped them in many ways, such as; with life skills, daily scheduling, time management, and financial planning just to name a few. I have always been eager to help young girls as they embark upon motherhood, and the challenges that come with the role of mother. It’s not an easy task at any age, but I’m sure it can overwhelm a young mother. I want young mothers to know that you don’t have to give up on life when you become a mother. There is support to help you reach your goals.

Growing up I saw many young mothers trying to make ends meet, and it touched my heart so much that I was drawn to them. Even as an adult I still have a heart for young mothers. I want to see them succeed even after having a baby at such a young age.

Talking Heart2Heart is a place of comfort where you can be the real you, and you will not face any situations alone. I believe there is good in everyone, but we must search deep within to find that good. I can see the success from afar, but I can’t make it happen for you. I want to help you find that good and in time perfect it . I want to be of help to young mothers, and a kind word to someone who feels down could be of equal value to money based on the situation.

I started writing at a young age about feelings, thoughts, concerns, and everything else in between. It was therapeutic for me, and often times I encourage others to write as well. When you write it gives you a sense of freedom as though shackles are removed, and it frees you to express without interruptions. Who knew? I guess I have been blogging for years in a sense. I feel as though I am a part of this undefeated team, and this team consist of me, my thoughts, a pencil and paper, and I want you to join that team and together there is no stopping. I know that sounds a bit odd, but this is who I am. I am a realist, and I take things for what they are and own them. You might ask what does that mean? Well, there are situations in life that we face from time to time, but it’s how you approach the situation. I choose to control the situation and not let the situation control me, so that’s what I mean by owning it.

There is a sure message deep within any bad situation. It’s all in the way you look at things.  No, I don’t have a degree in psychology nor am I an expert. But I have had many experiences in life that I want to share. I am hopeful about this journey to see what the circle of ladies will bring to lives.  I hope you will soon call this home away from home. A place that you can feel free to be yourself and express yourself without being judged.

“Talking Heart2Heart” has been a work in progress for years, and has finally become a reality. “Talking Heart2Heart” is christian based, and the main goal is to share the message of hope. Biblical hope is defined as “confident expectation”, and this hope produces joy and peace. Bible hope and Natural hope is similar because they both have belief in the possible expectation, but Bible hope is based on the promises given in the bible from God.

Bible verse: Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen (Hebrews 11:1). This hope is founded on faith.
