Generation Gap – Part 2; Talking Heart2Heart

Generation gap

Every generation seems to have its own flavor, but the values and morals should stay the same. There is a problem when nothing is left to the imagination because it’s exposed for the world to see. This is literally a generation gap that must be closed. What’s the deal with showing your underwear? This must be addressed because it has gone on too long. Our youth apparently got off track along their journey, but it’s not too LATE to take a detour. We have to join forces and attack the spirit that is after the youth. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

There could be a number of reasons for the extremely large generation gap, but it boils down to the devil trying to stop future progress. He tried it with Jesus by tempting him after forty days and nights of fasting.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”[a]Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:  ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and,‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’[b] Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”[c] Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you,[d] Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”[e] 11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. (Matthew 4:1-11).

As you see in the scripture, the devil tried to tempt Jesus to stop future progress. Jesus resisted the devil, and he had to flee. He said, “IT IS WRITTEN” because he had you and I on his mind. The devil saw our future as a threat, so he tried to stop it. This generation gap is another attempt for the devil to try to stop the future of our youth. But we have to STAND firm on the word and declare “IT IS WRITTEN“.

We as men and women of God must stand in the gap, rebuke the devil and command him to take his hands off our youth in Jesus Name. We can no longer sit back and watch the devil destroy the lives of a generation of youth. The devil is a LIE… The prayers of the righteous can bring the generation gap closer together, so that we may progress together.

I'm sorry to hear the spelling errors has offended you, but my main concern is the message within the post. I have been blogging for 10 months, so it's a fairly new website. You are the second person to mention spelling errors, so hopefully the focus is more on the message than the errors. I use spell check in word, so I'm not sure why the corrections are not made. I use scripture from the bible so keep in mind that the King James Version of spelling is quite different. I quote scripture as it is written, and in several of my post there are several words marked as misspelled. But as I said, I choose to quote them as they are written in the bible. I hope you will visit again. Be Blessed…

naturally like your web site but you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth then again I will certainly come back again.
