Worth Much More; Talking Heart2Heart

You are worth much more

Self-Respect Adds Value..

Ladies, it’s time for some straight talk. You are worthy of much more than what you have accepted in your life. You work hard everyday, and you’ve built some stability. You have your own apartment or house, and your own car. You may not be satisfied financially, but you have the drive to continue striving to reach your goals. When you set your mind upon a goal, you don’t stop until you make it reality. So why in the world would you settle for a man who brings nothing to the table? 1 Thessalonians 3:10 “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.”

This type of man works very little if at all, yet you allow him to move in with you and your children. You have rent, food, and bills on top of bills that he doesn’t give anything towards. He doesn’t even have a car, so you let him drive your car. Why? Does he make sure the maintenance is kept up? Does he wash it for you? Does he even keep gas in it? If the answer is NO, there is a problem. RED FLAG, RED FLAG…

What exactly is he adding to your life besides more cost? You get your kids off to school, and you go off to work leaving him in your house, he’s using your water, eating your food, and using your electricity. Is this the man who want to have a future with? He is a player, and you are the target. He will run the course of this play as long as you allow it. Ephesians 5:6 “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”

You deserve someone who compliments your life as you compliment his life because it’s a partnership. In a good relationship giving and receiving is a great part of it, so if you are the only one giving then you need to review your little arrangement. An arrangement of this sort will stunt the growth of your future and prolong your goals or even kill your dreams. I hope you will soon realize that you don’t have to give yourself to someone who obviously is taking advantage in many ways. As this affects you mentally, emotionally, and financially, this probably won’t end well for you. 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”

My Pastor gave a prophetic word for the New Year “The Year For God To Act.” God wants to act in your behalf, but you have to do your part. You need to come to terms with your situation, and you must be willing to do what’s best for your life and your future by walking away. Because true love is worth it. Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Ladies, you deserve a real MAN who will value, respect, and honor your presence. This MAN will carry the weight of the relationship as a protector and a provider. He will be your Knight, and honor you as his princess. Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” A relationship like this has the potential to grow into something beautiful because you both understand your roles, and he brings his best to the table because you are WORTH it. Can you see your value?
