Change is Now; Talking Heart2Heart

Change starts with a decision...

Change is now because it starts with a decision…at the moment

We are in the month of December with only weeks left before the year ends. So as we draw closer to the end of 2013, some may think about the newness ahead and what it means to them. Many may look forward to making a New Year’s Resolution, while others dread facing another year without meeting the pass set goals. The problem with resolutions is the delay of putting it off until the first of the year. Change is now, and unless you are willing to put it to work immediately you are setting yourself up for failure. When you put things off, you allow yourself time to come up with reasons why (NOW) is not the time to make the change. But when you have the attitude that change is today you are in control of your destiny.

There is a process in making a change of any kind. If you are considering a change, you must first have the first thought. Change is at the moment when you make the decision to change. Then you must have a plan of how you will make the change, and the effects the change may bring. It is also important to set a realistic goal of the expected time of the change. You must also have patience, discipline, will-power, and determination to make the necessary changes in your life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Change is doing something different, moving to something different, or to cause to be different. In other words, change is a right now course of action. But in the process of changing take it one day at a time. You may not cross every T or dot every I every time, but don’t give up.

Change will forever be taking place around us with or without our cooperation. Many are very hesitant about change because of the unknown or unexpected; it feels as if you are not in control. Some changes are beyond your control, but you must come to terms with it. When you learn to cope with unexpected changes, it makes the transition smoother. When change occurs, there is an obvious transformation. A real change starts deep within your inner-being, and it will work its way out for all to see.

The activity of change is work, and it can be a constant battle in motion. The process of change can very easily be compared to a battle. You may have scars or wounds after a battle, but you can survive. Change will give you a different outlook on life because it allowed you to step outside of the norm. So embrace change as it is inevitable throughout your lifetime and beyond. It is also beneficial to your growth and progress as you journey on this life cycle. Please leave your comments below.
